Your details will only be used to complete orders, provide you with the best possible service and, to enable us to send you information about promotional offers and new products or services. Your personal information will not be passed or sold to any third party or company (unless we are legally obliged to) without your permission. The content of our website including without limitation all information, software, data, text, photographs, graphics, sound and video are protected by copyright, trademarks, service marks, patents or other proprietary rights. Except insofar as expressly permitted in these terms and conditions, the content of this website may not be retrieved, displayed, modified, copied, printed, sold, downloaded, hired, reverse engineered or transmitted in any way without our prior written consent.
Customer Services
In the event of you having a complaint or problem with any of our products or service please contact us you will find our details in our contact us page. Customer services are available between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. All Complaints or problems are taken serious and will be resolved as soon as possible we will keep you informed throughout your issue. All feedback is welcome as we are constantly looking at ways to improve our service.
Credit/Debit Card Security
We want you to shop online with confidence. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website. In order to validate orders we may contact you for additional security purposes should we deem this necessary.
Trade Descriptions Act
Every care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and specifications of our products on this web site are correct. However, whilst the colour reproduction is a close representation, a colour variation in the actual goods may occur.
Guarantee
Our core values ensure that all Chelsea Garden Furniture products are manufactured using only the highest quality materials which are constructed by skilled, experienced craftsmen to create exceptional furniture that is designed and built to last. Chelsea Garden Furniture products come with a 10 year guarantee which covers the manufacture, durability and design of your selected furniture. We at Chelsea Garden Furniture are very aware that consumers are well protected by statutory rights that are extremely comprehensive. However because of the confidence in the integrity of our products we undertake to guarantee our products for two years Parts and Labour plus 8 years Parts from date of purchase against defects in the materials or workmanship. During the initial 2 year period products will be repaired or have parts replaced at the discretion of the Company free of charge and during the extended 8 year period parts will only be replaced provided that:
a) The product or any parts are returned to Chelsea Garden Furniture with proof of purchase. Chelsea Garden Furniture must be contacted prior to any arrangements to return any product and before any third party repair is carried out.
b) The product has been purchased by or for the user for normal domestic use and not commercial use.
c) The product has not been misused or handled carelessly, and has not been wilfully damaged, neglected or used in abnormal conditions.
d) The product has not been modified, altered or transformed in any way and repairs have not been attempted other than by Chelsea Garden Furniture staff. The guarantee will be valid only if maintenance has been carried out in accordance with Chelsea Garden Furniture care instructions. Chelsea Garden Furniture will not be responsible for any defects to furniture due to the application of teak oil or stain or any other cleaning product other than Chelsea Garden Furniture recommended care products.
e) The word "defects" as used in the guarantee is defined as imperfections that impair the utility of the product. The guarantee does not apply to normal wear and tear of the product such as wood checking and weathering. Normal wear and tear is defined as "the normal deterioration that is received by regular use." The guarantee does not cover dents or scratches to the product.
f) The guarantee does not cover damage, loss, or other conditions beyond the control of Chelsea Garden Furniture such as damage resultant from unauthorised repair, infestation, negligence, misuse, improper handling or abuse, acts of God such as: wind damage, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, fire, and any other events due to natural causes and damage caused by the improper use of a Chelsea Garden Furniture parasol without the support of our recommended parasol base.
g) This guarantee only applies to garden furniture products from our 2010 range onwards, purchased after the 1st of January 2010.
h) Transportation of goods to be repaired or exchanged to Chelsea Garden Furniture head office is the responsibility of the consumer.
i) If a particular product is no longer available Chelsea Garden Furniture reserve the right to use an alternative similar product or substitute a current model.
j) Chelsea Garden Furniture rattan, parasol covers, cushions, textilene fabric and fading resin are excluded and come with a standard 1 year guarantee.
k) Products purchased from sale events, discounted stock or clearance come with a one year Guarantee.
l) The benefit of this guarantee cannot be assigned.
m) This guarantee does not cover any rights other than those expressly set out above and does not cover claims for consequential loss or damage.
n) This guarantee is offered as an extra benefit and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer in any way whatsoever.

The problem will be investigated and if identified as a fault in materials or workmanship, any repair or replacement will be made at Chelsea Garden Furniture discretion. Any product or defective part replaced shall become Chelsea Garden Furniture property.
Teak
All our teak products are from sustainable resources and are sourced from Indonesian Government controlled plantations.
Delivery
When your order has been processed, the details of your order will be passed to our warehouse. We aim to deliver items we have in stock within 15 working days. If items are not in stock we will advise you of the estimated lead time.
One of our sales team will contact you, by telephone, to personally schedule your delivery. We have our own team of Chelsea Garden Furniture Delivery Drivers and offer a specialised delivery and assembly service for our furniture. We will place your furniture as directed and remove all packaging for recycling.
During busy periods we may occasionally use a third party carrier to make sure your delivery is fulfilled in a timely manner.
Couriers
We use a courier service for the efficient despatch of cushions, parasols/parasol bases ordered separately and other occasional pieces. We despatch courier items using a 24 hour service and we try to accommodate specific delivery dates. We cannot offer timed delivery on courier deliveries. We can track your courier delivery on-line and update you by email.
Delivery Charges*
All orders are now free of charge, However if you live in a rural location a small charge may be applied please contact us for more information on delivery locations. If a order is placed and we deem the location for charge you will be contacted prior delivery.

Access
Please ensure that we have suitable access to the area in which you would like your new furniture positioned. Some furniture can be assembled on site once access had been made. However, if you have chosen large fixed pieces please measure to ensure that the pieces will fit through your entrance and garden entrance. If we are unable to complete your delivery due to limitations of access then a £50.00 charge will be levied.
Customer Service
We hope you will be delighted with your Chelsea Garden Furniture. Please inspect your furniture at the time of delivery - in the unlikely event of a problem - please advise our delivery team at the time who will try to rectify it. If an item needs to be replaced please allow for the delivery lead times given above. You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery to discuss returns on 0800 747 1661. If agreed, we will arrange to collect your order. Furniture must be carefully stored and in new condition when we collect. A £50 charge will be made for collection of goods delivered by our own teams. We cannot collect goods despatched by courier.
Export
We are experienced in exporting furniture worldwide and are pleased to handle shipping arrangements for you. Please call us with your full overseas delivery address and we will calculate the shipping costs for you. We can process VAT Refunds for non EU nationals on completion of export documentation. Please note that it is your responsibility to INSURE your goods from the UK onwards. Exported goods cannot be returned. Goods for overseas destinations may be shipped flat packed to minimise risk of damage. Fixed larger pieces cannot be flat packed. You will be responsible for any customs or import duties levied once the goods reach your country, as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they might be.
Returns and Exchanges
We are happy to accept any item for exchange or refund within 7 days of receipt of goods, provided the item is returned unused, in its original packaging and with the manufacturer's tags still attached (if applicable). This does not affect your statutory rights. You will also pay for any return delivery charge we recommend that you use an insured registered carrier to return your item. Chelsea Garden Furniture will not be held liable for the cost of return or lost or damaged items. Any goods being exchanged a small second delivery charge may apply price depends on location. Any furniture that has been misused will not be refunded or exchanged, furniture that has been treated/painted will be repaired rather than replace any damage.
Payment
All goods must be paid for either before delivery or on delivery any goods not will remain the property of Chelsea Garden Furniture until done so.
Law
This contract is governed by the law of England, Scotland and Wales and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England, Scotland and Wales.
